Seminar of 2008 Modern Aesthetic Laser Cutting-edge Technology and Non-Invasive Anti-aging Procedure

            Nearly one hundred experts from nationally well-known medical cosmetic organizations attended the Seminar of 2008 Modern Aesthetic Laser Cutting-edge Technology and Non-Invasive Anti-aging Procedure at Chengdu Yellow Crown Hotel in Chengdu, Szechuan, China on January 18, 2008. They discussed the development of medical cosmetology industry and the exchange of new technology. The hosts of this seminar were Dr. Zhen-Qiu Wu, a renowned China cosmetologist as well as a dean of Chengdu Da-Hua cosmetic clinic, and Ms. Wei-Wei Wu, chairman of Guangzhou Stuart Medical Investment Ltd. President and CEO of Genepharm, Dr. Xinfan Huang, was invited as a keynote speaker to talk about “Skin regeneration and homeostasis after non-ablative surgery – the new research developments.”

            During the speech, Dr. Huang presented significant amount of scientific data and results about Genepharm’s product, Dermesis, which is the first formulation incorporating Genepharm’s innovative Calcium-T^™ technology (US Patent No.: 7300649). Dermesis products can effectively deliver the required amount of calcium and related ions into the epidermis for optimal skin barrier regeneration and homeostasis, especially for post-treatment after aesthetic laser and non-invasive anti-aging procedures. This can enable the restoration of epidermal calcium concentration gradient and further regulate proliferation and differentiation of skin cells. The resulting effect of these products is accelerated recovery after laser procedures and prevention of post-procedural side effects, such as PIH (post inflammatory hyperpigmentation). The attending experts gave positive responses to Genepharm’s innovative technology and reputed products.
