Promotion of Calcium-T Technology and Dermesis in Indonesia

In January 2008, Genepharm’s partner company, Medece Kosmetika Indonesia participated in two events to promote innovative Calcium-T technology and Dermesis skincare products in Surabaya, the second largest city in Indonesia. Medece Kosmetika Indonesia is both Genepharm’s strategic ally and product distributor for Indonesia.

The first exhibition took place on January 12, 2008 at the event held by the Department of Dermatology and Venereology of General Hospital Dr. Soetomo. During the seminar, focusing on “Laser Technology in Skin Beauty Care” was to promote the awareness of using the right laser technology for skin treatments as well as promoting Dermesis and Medece Mineral Complex were promoted as the best solution for recovery of skin after laser procedures. Both products incorporate Calcium-T technology which provides the correct signals to normalize skin barrier homeostasis and regeneration. They are the unique adjunctive skin therapy products that can effectively treat skin disorders and reduce post-procedural adverse effects of skin.

The second event was held on January 24, 2008 at Adi Husada Undaan, another main hospital in Surabaya. Dr. Evy Ervianti, SpKK from the Department of Dermatology and Venereology at Airlangga University, gave a lecture titled “The Role of Calcium-T Technology to Improve Skin Barrier.” She eloquently explained how the patented Calcium-T technology utilizes calcium-enriched mineral complex along with other vital body minerals to deliver proper amount of calcium ions into epidermis. The calcium ions that are delivered are specifically in accordance with the required amount of each layer in epidermis. This formulation can effectively restore calcium concentration gradient and further improve the skin barrier regeneration and homeostasis of damaged skin. The dermatologists, physicians specialists, and head nurses attending this event had excellent impressions as well as the positive commendations toward the technology and products.
