(03/01/08) Opening Ceremony of China Branch Office
On March 1st, 2008, Genepharm opened its China branch office, Genepharm Ltd, at Changsa, Hunan.
This branch office is Genepharm’s second international branch office along with
Taiwan
branch and US headquarter. Dr. Ze-Hua Xiong, previously held positions as a
vice president of operation and director of plastic surgery at People Hospital
of Hunan Province, was appointed as a Board member and Chief Technology Officer.
Mr. Jian-Xin Wu was appointed as Vice President. He graduated from Hsiang-Ya Medical College and has tremendous marketing experience
in the pharmaceutical drug market. Through Genepharm Ltd, Genepharm wishes to establish
the market of dermatology and post-procedural repair for aesthetic anti-aging
procedures at China
and expect to hold a seminar of Calcium-T technology and Dermesis products at
Changsa in June, 2008. Based on the business experiences in Taiwan, Genepharm anticipates to
develop the new skin drugs and OTC products using proprietary technologies,
such as Aero-Foli, that can fit into the China
market. Genepharm strives to be the most professional biomedical company in
dermatology and aesthetic anti-aging market in China.
On the occasion of China
branch opening, Dr. Xinfan Huang, the President and CEO of Genepharm, met with
all sales operation personnel from US, Taiwan and China office in a two-day
sales meeting at Changsa. This meeting was a great venue to share the
experience on sales and marketing from three different regions and effectively
integrate the resources to benefit Genepharm’s future.
