National Psoriasis Walk 2008 in San Francisco

Genepharm was honored to be a part of the National Psoriasis Walk in San Francisco. The nationwide Psoriasis Walk for Awareness is designed to generate public awareness about psoriasis and raise money for National Psoriasis Foundation, for education and research programs. Genepharm was pleased to donate Dermesis Skin Barrier Therapy Lotion which is used in conjunction with prescription drugs to relieve psoriatic symptoms and accelerate the clearance of dry or scaly skin conditions.

It is well documented by many solid scientific studies that the health of skin barrier does affect psoriasis and improving the skin barrier function also improves the efficacy of psoriasis treatments. Dermesis with the unique Calcium-T technology restores the epidermal calcium concentration gradient and thereby promotes the proper differentiation of keratinocytes.
