Gel-Pad
Novel drug delivery system which uses gel
matrices to keep the active compounds stable during storage,
but efficiently to be delivered to the target site in the
skin. Additionally, it is possible to form a protective
layer on the skin surface to prevent material transfer from
the preparation to other places, including other subjects,
and hence increase safety of use.
This delivery system is taking advantage of
the most recent materials which can transport the active
compounds in higher rate and amount with less harmful effect
to skin.
Anti-psoriatic drug
Small-molecule active pharmaceutical
ingredients which have the physico-chemical characteristic
suited for topical application and demonstrate effectiveness
in interefering the development of psoriasis. The molecules
have a known history of safety after being metabolized or
even when entering blood circulation. The preclinical and
animal data have shown promising prospect for the molecules
as an effective therapy for the skin disease that plagues
increasing number of subjects, but without definite therapy
to date.
